Does the host need to approve my booking first?
No. Book available accommodation directly online and receive your confirmation immediately by email. There is no further host approval to wait for. Afterwards, arrange payment and arrival with your host.
Can I register my address when booking a room?
Yes. With every urbanbnb property – apartments, private rooms and rooms in shared flats – you receive a landlord confirmation (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung) from your host or accommodation provider after arrival. Read more about relocation and residence registration .
Can I book one month first and extend later?
Yes. With the urbanbnb trial month, book your first month and add the paid extension option. The agreed follow-on period stays reserved until the option deadline. If you extend, the option fee is credited in full against the rent for the new period. Without the option, a later extension depends on availability.
How do I pay, and will I receive an invoice?
Pay your host directly and receive an invoice from them. For bookings of two months or more, rent is paid monthly. Payment information is included in your booking confirmation. Find further details in the booking process.
What is provided in the accommodation?
The accommodation is furnished. Each listing explains whether the kitchen and bathroom are private or shared, which appliances are available and which extras cost more. Read how to check your accommodation before booking .
Do guests pay a service fee to urbanbnb?
No. Guests pay no additional urbanbnb service fee. The costs shown for the accommodation still apply, including rent, cleaning, any deposit and selected extras or an extension option.
